Data from statistic center of China National Textiles Industry Council indicated, from January to April, total import & export value of textiles and garment was US$ 25.96 billion, up by 24.6% compared with the same period of last year, and a 10.6% share of national imports & exports.
According to the statistics, export value of textiles and garment was US$ 21.36 billion from January to April, up by 27% compared with the same period of last year, and a 18% share of national exports. Of which export value of textiles grew 32%, and garment exports grew 25%.
Japan, Hong Kong and USA were the top three export destinations, and exports to these three countries accounted for 52% of total textiles and garment exports .
